Um, in new apartment, settled.

Yeah, not much other than work right now. Haven't done much art wise - excluding the little chibis I did for a work related thing. ;

So, yeah, here's to hoping I can get my bum moving on some artsy stuff...

I live!! It's a miracle!!!

For those of you who watch me, or check in on me occassionaly, I just wanted to let you know a few things for the next few months.

One, the computer at my Mum's house is on its last legs, so internet through it will be very sketchy until they break down and buy a new system.

Two, I'm currently in the market, and hoping to move into my own apartment within the next month or so. Hopefully by my 22nd birthday latest - this means February 2007. So money fundage will be scarce until Cam and I settle in - possible internet blackout there.

Three, its the holiday season, and not only am I working 40+ hrs a week, but I've got numerous family functions I need to be seen at; so, not so much slacking time.

Four, nothing really, just wanted to have a fourth thingy. ;;

Those of you who've got my cell number, feel free to call me and check in any time. Otherwise, I shall hopefully be back up and running fully by April 2007 latest.

I live!! It's a miracle!!!

Well, I guess I've been MIA for well over a year now...at least in the posting of things. I've been kind of haunting the joint ever since I got back from New Orleans July '05, and removed in with my mum. There are a whole series of excuses I can use here, but won't. There's been no real new art, just a smattering of crappy sketches worthy of a blackhole, and no real big news on my side save my promotion at work and my growing BJD family. ;; I'm going through my files of the aforementioned BJD family right now, and am planning on posting at least one picture of each of my four kids. ;;

Otherwise, I've been busy writing for various submissions and ontests in hopes to further my writing credit - the goal to be a published author is still beating at me, and with my whole family looking at me like I'm crazy it's something that's got to be done.

Work is work, like I said I was opromoted to a department lead position and just had my annual review - I got a .50 raise, woot!! I have, since last update, met Anne McCaffrey, Kim Harrison, Stephenie Meyer, Barbara Hambly, and a whole series of newly published authors. Most of my friends have gotten married, or engaged, leaving me one of few that remain single - heck, the majority of the married ones have kids too!!!

I'm working on some MCL fanart for Bet-bet, and some fanart for Christy of Relay and Next Exit - because fanart seems to love me while my own charas don't. ;;

The scanner we have down here at my mum's is crap, so any new art will either be posted via digicam pictures or, if it's 8.5x11 via the crap scanner, but only if it's not color. ;-; I miss the non-crap scanner!!! *wail*

AX06 was fun, we accidentally flooded our hotel room and incured the wrath of the hotel demons, but otherwise good. Being that we incured the wrath of hotel demons I only had the moneies to purchase my very own copy of MCL, which is good because I still can't get it ordered/stocked in the B&N I work at. Weirdness!!

I think that's it for now, go total update of news. I swear I'll be back before another year's gone by. ^___^;;;;

The internet and I will be without each other's warm embraces beginning Sunday, September 24, and lasting - hopefully - only for a couple of weeks - cross your fingers - since I'm moving down to my Mum's house and they have shitty AOL DIAL-UP!!!!!! *pulls out hair* so until I either convince my step-da to get something better or get said better connection installed in my new bedroom for me to use i will be without my one true love, the internet. Well, this si the final thing before I head out for my weekend of mildly patriotic, insanity filled, sleep deprived joy. And once I get over the initial funk of coming back after five days of no sleep and next to no food I'll be super energized, I swear. So I'm off to enjoy AX'05, and will hopefully have madness inspired art to scan in on my return.
